Hellooooo old friends.  Is this thing on??  I'm going to eventually stop blogging about my unintentional blogging hiatus-es - but not today, apparently.

Last week.... woohoo, what a week!

I had a bunch of business and travel and meetings for work, which definitely threw me off my blogging game.  And then, on Friday and Saturday, I was the unofficial/official "day-of" coordinator for a friend of a friend. 

Let me just say friends... if I ever needed verification that weddings are a helluva lot of work and completely exhausting - I GOTS IT!


The above picture is of the wedding venue.  Can you imagine?!  It was BEYOND stunning.  Two weeks ago, every leaf on those trees were green... and they just turned perfectly bright and vibrant just in time for the wedding.

Of course, I don't really have any pictures of anything during the wedding or reception because I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

I felt terribly because I was worried that things weren't going smoothly enough or that the bride wasn't enjoying herself (and worse that I was the cause of it!)... but I think things went pretty smoothly.

And did I mention that after two days of wedding madness... I worked yesterday because it's my boss' birthday and she totally deserves a day off.

Needless to say, I've still not fully recovered and I am more overwhelmed than ever with all the daunting wedding planning in the next year.  With another night of sleep under my belt, I think I might just be ready to get back on the horse.  Bring it on!!
